No. Modern PHP is fast and a very large share of the web runs on it. What is outdated is code written fifteen years ago and never updated, which is a different problem with a different fix.

We have an old ASP.NET system. Can it be kept?

Often yes, and keeping it is usually cheaper than a rewrite. We look at whether it can be moved to a supported version and hardened before anyone proposes replacing it.

Why offer both stacks?

Because Indian businesses already run both, and your existing system decides the stack, not our preference. Rewriting working software into a different language to suit a vendor is a bad trade.
