Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, and how to get it removed. It is short because the site does very little with your data.
Who this is about

What we collect
Only two things.
- What you type into the enquiry form. Your name, email address, business name if you give one, the kind of work you are asking about, and your message. We also record the time and the IP address it was sent from, because without that we cannot tell a real enquiry from automated spam.
- Ordinary web server logs. Our hosting provider records requests to the site in the normal way. We add nothing to that.
What we do not do
- There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third party tracker on this site.
- There is no mailing list. Writing to us subscribes you to nothing, because there is nothing to subscribe to.
- We do not sell, rent or share enquiry details with anyone.
- The site sets no cookies of its own and does not use cookies to follow you around.
Why we are allowed to hold it
You sent it to us so that we would reply. That is the only basis, and replying is the only use.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Enquiries are stored on the server that runs this website, in a folder that is not reachable over the web. We keep them while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. Ask us to delete yours and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
Who else can see it
Our hosting provider, because the site and its files sit on their servers. Nobody else. If we reply by email, the email provider handles that reply, which is true of any email anyone sends.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. One email is enough. We do not require a form or a reason.
Links to other services
Where this site links somewhere else, such as WhatsApp, that service has its own privacy policy and we have no control over it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not change it quietly and leave the old date in place.
