Pixadox / Services

All 33 of them.

One studio, four kinds of work. Nothing here is outsourced to an agency you never meet. Pick a line and read what is involved.

Software written from scratch

You describe how the work happens now. We write software that does it that way, instead of a template you have to bend the business into.

The systems your staff sit in all day

Billing, stock, admissions, bookings, orders, payments. Boring screens that have to be right, fast on a slow connection, and usable by someone who was trained for ten minutes.

Most of this work starts the same way. Somebody is keeping the real numbers in a private spreadsheet because they do not trust the system.

After it goes live

Most of the cost of software comes after launch. Speed, search, security, backups, hosting and a person who answers when something breaks.

Not sure which line you need.

Describe the problem in your own words instead. Most enquiries turn out to be two or three of these at once, and sorting that out is our job, not yours.

Questions we get asked

01Do I have to pick one service?
No. Most jobs cross two or three of these. A shop that wants billing usually needs stock behind it and WhatsApp order updates in front of it, and that is one project, not three.
02Thirty three services sounds like too many for one studio.
It is one skill set described four ways. Build is new software, Run is the systems staff sit in all day, Web is the front end, and Keep is what happens after it goes live. The list is long because businesses ask for it in their own words, not because each one is a separate department.
03Can you take over something another developer built?
Yes, and it is a large part of the work. We read the code first and tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping, repairing or replacing. Sometimes the answer is that the existing system is fine and you need something else entirely.
04What if what I need is not on the list?
Ask anyway. The list covers what people request often, not the boundary of what can be built. If it is genuinely outside what we do well, we will say so rather than take the job.
